IntroductionWe are a group of people located in Austin, Texas who like to read and study the works of Jane Roberts and the entity that she called Seth. Jane herself started the first "Seth Group" in Elmira, New York during the mid to late 1960's. It was actually her ESP class.Since that time, many such "Seth" Groups have flowered into being; not necessarily as ESP classes, but definitely as groups of individually independent thinkers. These web pages are about the Seth Group in Austin, Texas - past, present, and future - simultaneously. The Austin Seth Group includes every reader of the works of Jane Roberts and Robert Butts in and around the Austin metropolitan area; whether they are doing their own reading solo, or meeting in groups to discuss the ideas in that material. But everything merges together. As the colors in a rainbow flow into each other, there are no sharp boundaries of separation; everything is connected. The Austin Seth Group in this manner includes everybody of the World Wide Jane Roberts and Seth Reader Community. Taken one step further, it includes readers and non-readers alike; all independent thinkers. See that? You were already a member and didn't even know it! The Austin Seth Group is constantly changing in the process of development. It is, as Seth says, "in the process of becoming" like everything else. In fact, it will forever be this way. It is intended that this web site reflect that change and development which is our individual and collective quest for value fulfillment. This site, as it develops, is sharing some interesting history in regard to Seth Groups in Austin. There's more than 20 years of history in regard to the world-wide association of the fans of Jane Roberts' work that happened right here. Our little web site is now a somewhat established beach head on the shores of the WWW. Bookmark it, then check back once in a while to catch the next phase in it's development.
